We’ve been informed this morning that due to the heavy rainfall yesterday—affecting not just our area but the county as a whole—the planned works on Alfington Road (ORD2501232) will now require an additional day to complete.
Originally scheduled to finish on Monday 1st September, the works will now be completed by Tuesday 2nd September.
The recent rain, falling on extremely dry ground, caused significant runoff and disruption across the network. Despite best efforts, this has impacted progress.
All previously agreed arrangements will remain in place.
