I have lived in and around Ottery all my life, I went to The King’s School and have family in town. I live in the area with my wife, who was a teacher and now supports young people transitioning back into education who have struggled in school. My daughter hopes to attend The King’s School in September 2024. I enjoy all things food and drink, walking our spaniel, art, and the outdoors.

Until recently I worked in Ottery too as the CEO for the Charity Action East Devon, I’m now heading up another organisation in Devon called the Life Chance Trust that supports young people who have experienced childhood trauma.

I have always been interested and worked within the community and stood as a Councillor because I would like to make an impact however small on my local community to make it the best place for my family and others to live.

During my time as a Councillor I want to see more support for young people, a more sustainable approach to the town’s carbon footprint and a cleaner environment and council that works with local people to make the best of our rural areas.

We need to be a mental health friendly town, a funded variety of support for young people and families and a healthy community spirit for all that live here.
