The Forum was set up 20 years ago for those residents of Ottery who had retired but still wanted to remain active and meet socially with other members of the Forum.
There are regular meetings and social events such as meals out, bingo, table tennis, trips to the cinema or theatre and dances. At its peak there were over 300 members.
The Forum keeps in touch with its members with a printed newsletter containing interesting articles and details of upcoming events.
There is a small charge to join which goes towards the cost of printing of the newsletter.
Elli Pang has been responsible for running the Forum since its inception and is now looking to step down and find volunteers to take over.
