The Town Council would like to politely remind residents that the cemetery is a place of remembrance and reflection for those visiting loved ones.
Dogs are welcome in the cemetery when accompanying visitors to a grave and kept on a short lead at all times. However, we kindly ask that the cemetery is not used as an area for exercising dogs.
We appreciate that dog owners need suitable places to walk their pets, but out of respect for bereaved families and visitors, we ask that exercise and recreational walks take place in other appropriate locations.
